Keep Customers Coming Back For More With Promotional Products

You've got customer's through the door; now it's about getting them to come back again, this time, hopefully, bringing their friends.  Generating repeat business is a delicate grace combining great products, brand loyalty, and word of mouth referrals.  Word of mouth marketing, an offshoot of brand loyalty, is one of the most effective means of campaigning and generating interest in a particular company or product.  People trust their friends, co-workers, and relatives to steer them to the products and places they are loyal to.

So how do we gain customer loyalty? Repeated business.
How do we get repeated business?  Advertising.
When it comes to getting the public's attention, nothing is more effective than free products.  A recent Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) study revealed that “Consumers made a purchase after receiving a promotional product (20.9 percent) more often than after viewing a print ad (13.4 percent), TV commercial (7.1 percent) or online ad (4.6 percent).”  This speaks volumes for the value of the role promotional products play in your marketing campaign. As you head into the new year, take the time to rethink your marketing strategy if tangible brand awareness isn't at the top of your list.  Then start your promotional product shopping now.
At Bizpen.com, we offer a wide array of custom imprint-able products, daily on our website, and personalized head hunting for the custom products that will set your company apart.  That means that if you don't see it on our site, you can call us today, and we will find you the perfect customizable promotion.  Our quality products are always the best price and are always premium quality.

Promoting Healthy Business During Flu Season

Friday, 23 October 2009 19:13 by china@bizpen.com
As I lay here with a fever of 103, I can’t help but think about the brilliance of promotional healthcare items; specifically the antibacterial pen. Everyday we come in contact with numerous surfaces covered in germs, but it’s the pen that poses the greatest threat. As I lay here with the chills I can’t help but think about how many times in a day I come in contact with a new pen/germ assailant. When I write a note for my daughters lunch in the morning, when I sign my credit slip at the market, mall, movies, bank; the list goes on and on. I wonder how many other people have touched this pen, wiped their nose first maybe, put it in their mouth. If only all businesses were considerate enough of their patrons to provide a custom imprinted antimicrobial pen. Hospitals caught onto the growing trend of antibacterial products out of necessity, but why not schools, banks, restaurants, etc. Antibacterial pens and promotional hand sanitizers protect not just the customer, but the employee too. This equals a happier and healthier workforce as well as client base. Add happy clients to healthy employees and you get a better business with more cash flow. In this season of colds and flu, another great idea to keep your community healthy is a tissue box with your logo printed on it for the employees or travel pack tissues to give to the under the weather customer. Another thoughtful promotional product is a package of antibacterial wipes. Your employees will be happy to show up to a pack of wipes on their desk, and your overall workplace will be a healthier environment. At Bizpen.com, we are dedicated to the most well suited products at the best prices. We pride ourselves on the highest standards of quality and turn around time. We know that keeping our customers happy keeps your customers happy.

Halloween - A Special Season for a Personalized Touch on Business

Wednesday, 7 October 2009 21:15 by china@bizpen.com

Halloween is a great season for promotional & personalized products. Staff appreciation parties, social gatherings and trick-or-treaters make Halloween an optimum time to get your company’s logo into the hands of your constituents. Growing up I remember Halloween as a time of communing with the neighborhood. I’d race the other kids, running door-to-door, collecting candy and other prizes. Meanwhile the adults meandered, chatting over tea and coffee or a glass of wine. Kind faces, and other’s spooky, outstretch hands and reward creativity with a sweet treat. Then encircled by friends, we’d anxiously wait for the parents to inspect the candy before turning over the booty. It wasn’t until years later, when I was the one with the tea, watching my little witchy princess run door-to-door and going piece-by-piece through the varietal multitude of treat choices, that it dawned on me what an amazing marketing opportunity this nationwide past-time really is. In our neighborhood, Halloween is a big deal. People from all around fill the streets to wander from decked out house to community gathering, stopping at every door along the way to collect. Our first year in the neighborhood, I was impressed to find, at the end of the night, that my daughter’s heavy sack was not just a mound of candy, but a plethora of everything from festive personalized pens and pencils, a glow in the dark frisbee, sticky note pads, and party bags filled with a sugary treat. My all time favorite, a toothbrush from a local dentist, which helped me as a parent spark a great conversation about oral hygiene. I applauded this veering from the sugar overload and equally inspiring was the ingenious sentiment of the company logos printed on each one. I never would have guessed that my neighbor a block away would become my most trusted mechanic. I actually kept the aforementioned frisbee, with the name of my favorite local plumber, hanging in the laundry room, right by the back door. This is the type of nuanced advertising that stays with us. Yes, mini candies will always be a favorite amongst the kids, their wrappers thrown to the wayside, but a fun reusable product that won’t have kids bouncing off the walls, like a hand sanitizer to keep those snacking hands clean, to is likely to make you and your business a fan of parents and a household name. Bizpen.com has been helping business market their products and services since 1999. Check out all of our great promotional products, especially our seasonal promotional specials and close-out deals on personalized products.

The Power of Print

Friday, 21 August 2009 21:47 by china@bizpen.com

I was on the train a couple of days a ago, and I saw two women traveling together. They were clearly close friends or sisters; so friendly and trusting of each other.  It was almost as if they didn’t notice any other people in the world.  And for this reason, they were almost like entertainment, boisterous and drawing attention from every row in the car.  And the main attraction, the passing back and forth of an oversized reusable tote, imprinted with the logo of an eco-friendly supermarket.  At first glace I noticed the bag, acknowledged it for it's renewability and effective advertising, then smiled at the girls as they passed me to their seat.  They tucked the bag under the seat in front of them and the train departed.  Not more than five minutes in, it began.

“Should we move the bag to the over-head?” One questioned, before lifting the logo blazed bag.

Then moments later, “Did you pack us any magazines?”

Down came the bag, but alas no magazines. Next there was the carrying of the bag down the aisle to look through the other bag and make transfers.  On and on, for the entire 2 hour duration of the train ride, these girls and their ominous logo encrusted bag were like a subliminal commercial for the company they were inadvertently sponsoring.

"Promotional products work," I thought to myself.

Though I haven’t stated it above, I won’t forget the name of the health conscious supermarket that had impressed their logo into the hands of these women.  I won't forget the experience of living in a two hour living commercial.  And I know by the wear of this custom eco-friendly bag  that the 40 people in our train car weren’t the only people being advertised to.

You are What you Buy

Thursday, 30 July 2009 02:48 by china@bizpen.com

Where we spend our money says a lot about who we are.  The clothes you wear, the car you drive, even the toothpaste on your bathroom counter can make a statement about the choices and values you hold dear as an individual.  Have you ever been in someone’s home or office and made a decision about their personality based on the products they supply themselves with.  Whether it’s the product brands on the kitchen shelf, the logo imprinted shirt on our back, or the type of car we drive; we are what we buy.  So how do you make your statement?  Is it the with your favorite brand of skin care products, you know, the one with the cute the logo printed on the wrapper, that say’s I care about myself and I like to be playful.  Or is it your collection of custom band t-shirts that let’s the world know that you’re a music buff?  Maybe it’s the designer purse you carry with the fancy  engraved key-tag that let’s people know that you care about quality. Maybe it’s the statement printed on the bumper sticker on your car that let’s the world know that the environment is your main concern.  Whatever it is you surround yourself with, keep in mind you are making a statement about who you are.  Whether you are choosing a product based on the adorable imprinted logo, on the inexpensive price point, or on the quality of the ingredients or materials used to produce it; where you spend your money, says a lot about the values you carry with you.  So the next time you’re out shopping or even reorganizing, pay attention to the products you customize your personal surroundings with and how they represent you?  You may not be advertising your personal product in a way that promotes your custom lifestyle … or maybe you are?  Either way, we are the product of the personal imprint we brand upon our lives, from the apparel we wear to the type of pen we use; so make sure your custom imprint fits the persona you want the world to see.

Branding as a Way of Life

Wednesday, 22 July 2009 22:11 by china@bizpen.com

The importance of brand identification is paramount to any other form of advertising.  The statement made by a company’s logo, its universal or kitch-nitch style, allows consumers to identify with the products they use.  Whether you know it or not; you are a promotional representative of the products you buy.   This imprinted promotional advertising is omnipresent in today’s culture and for businesses manufacturing physical products, the printed logo is easy to distribute.  We find it in our stores, on our streets and in the homes of our friends and family.  The ability to advertise a brand in the households and on the backs of consumers is a strategy used for centuries and it works.  This method of direct promotional product placement can build a company’s economic status exponentially and in an economy where businesses are pressed to cut back spending, the imprinted logo in everyday places is more important than ever.  So where does this leave the service sector of our economy?  When you provide a service rather than product, getting your logo into the hands of the people may seem a difficult task, however it doesn’t need to be.  By providing your clients with small tokens of appreciation, printed with your personal brand name, or logo, any service provider, from the small mom and pop to a large corporation, can utilize the power of consumer advertising the same way a manufacturer can.  Have you ever left a bank or restaurant with a logo imprinted pen , then later loaned the pen out to a friend or colleague?  Well, most of us have, and in that moment of kind gesture, a recommendation of that service is past on to another potential client.  For pennies on the dollar, both service providers and product manufacturers can be utilizing the busy lives of their client bases for advertising.  It’s that simple.  Promotional product distributing, or the lack of it, can make or break a business, because every successful business knows that positive word of mouth, even if it is subconsciously passed on through the use of a printed pen, customized matchbook or logo imprinted sticky note, is the strongest recommendation for a product or service that can be made.  We all want to make “the right choice,” and if we know something has worked for someone we trust, we are probably more likely to try it for ourselves.  For this reason, in a declining economy, businesses can’t afford not to utilize the power of a personal promotional product.  When money’s tight, who are you going to trust; a model you’ll never meet or the friend that just passed you the logo imprinted pen? My guess is that it doesn’t take a bright mind to see the power of this hand to hand advertising tactic.  When you think about it, it’s just common sense.  So if you’re a business looking for the best way to increase income, put your advertising dollars into the most widespread method available, by handing your customer a freebie, even if is as simple as a cheap custom imprinted pen.  Chances are, you won’t be sorry.

Increase Sales using Gift With Purchase Marketing

Thursday, 28 May 2009 19:10 by china@bizpen.com

Promotional Gift with Purchase Consumers in any market are looking to get the most out of every dollar spent. Couple this with companies seeking innovative ways to market their product and the solution is simple: Increased sales can be as easy as including a free gift with purchase. A recent Advertising Specialties Institute central radio program heard a caller talk about one company’s denim sales tripling when they offered a free logo branded umbrella with purchase. Retail isn’t the only sector using GWP (gift with purchase) marketing. Fitness centers often offer free logo imprinted sports bottles. Credit card companies give out everything from imprinted mouse pads to eco-friendly tote bags as an incentive to sign up. Even the restaurant you last dined at may have gifted you an imprinted pen or book of matches as a thank you to your valued patronage. Smaller companies can take advantage of less costly promotional products, while return vs. quantity service oriented businesses can offer personalized corporate gifts upon contract closing. The key here is to stay relevant to your companies personal needs and that means not only picking a product in line with your product or service, but also staying within a price point that will still keep your profit margin lucrative. At Bizpen.com we have a product for every promotional marketing need. If you are looking for something specific and can’t find it on our website, our customer service representatives are standing by to locate any promotional product at the most competitive price.

Medical Professionals Jump Boundaries in Economic Strife by Honoring their Most Valuable Employees

Monday, 20 April 2009 21:32 by china@bizpen.com

nurses get personalized gifts National Nurses week is coming and now is the perfect opportunity to say thank you, with a personalized gift for all of their hard work. Annually across America medical professionals commemorate the birthday of Florence Nightingale (May 12th), founder of modern nursing, by giving back, May 6 through 12th, to the nurses that support them everyday. Often described as both art and science, the nursing field embraces a dedication to care for all people. Educated people with varied interests, strengths and passions work across the clock in emergency rooms, school based clinics, convalescent facilities, and homeless shelters, war torn countries, veteran hospitals. These unsung heroes offer compassion and support to those in need. It’s the little things in life: a bar of chocolate, antibacterial handi-wipes, or a water bottle that keep the most valuable medical professional employees happy throughout their day. At Bizpen.com, we want to honor the growing field of nursing by offering employers an economically viable and rare advertising opportunity using healthcare items! Customized corporate gifts are the #1 way to support your staff, advertise your product.
